KVM switch - Hardware device that allows you to connect to multiple computers or servers at the same time. KVM is an abbreviation for Keyboard, Video, Mouse. Majority of KVM switches are used with USB or VGA cables. KVM switches are used frequently in data centers where multiple servers are rackmounted in server racks or server cabinet enclosures. This allows server room personnel to connect to any server in the server rack.
